How Often Should You Clean Your Concrete Surface?

The recommendation that’s typically made is that you should do extensive cleaning about once a year. To be honest we do feel that’s the bare minimum. Doing that is really not going to do a ton towards ensuring that your existing surface stays as good as new. Twice a year is a lot better in our book. Plus it allows us to keep a more careful eye on the surface itself like we were just talking about.

Some Types of Concrete Surfaces May Need More Maintenance Than Others

It’s hard to put a number on how often something should be cleaned. We understand that a lot of people are looking for a direct answer to try and craft their plans to ensure their property remains clean. The thing is, if you’ve got a stamped concrete surface that doesn’t have as many joint points and is more or less one large slab it’ll have fewer chances of getting that dirt between those points that other surfaces have. Stamped concrete tends to have a lot more texture. That can create opportunities for the surface to get dirty! Keep that in mind when you set up the number of times you’ll want any surface cleaned.

Let’s say that we’re doing some cleaning, and we spot some issues that we feel need to be repaired. We’ll promptly let you know that we’ve spotted these problems. At the end of the day though you’ll have the final say in when we start those repairs or even if we start them.
